I can configure my telescope and add my eyepieces so that I can know EXACTLY what I’m looking through the eyepiece, I can even add my finder or telrad to have 2 concentric circles on the map, this has been a lifesaver when star hopping and looking for difficult objects like galaxies or planetary nebulae. If you just like to watch the constellations or stargaze without many tools Pro is probably not worth it, but in my case, the Fields of View functionality has been such a good help. I tested like 4 other apps, like Stellarium that I know it’s one of the go-to apps for amateur astronomers, and SkySafari, but I think I liked this one much more aesthetically, it really looks nice and found it much easier and intuitive to use.Īfter using the Pro version free trial I went for the annual subscription and for sure I’ll be renewing it.
